This training is aimed at anyone who works with or speaks to people who might benefit from using PrEP (pre-exposure prophylaxis for HIV)
Solent have joined up with Terrance Higgins Trust to develop this resource for professionals in Hampshire, Portsmouth, Southampton and Isle of Wight.

What is PrEP?
PrEP (pre-exposure prophylaxis against HIV) is a pill that protects from HIV. It can be used by people who are HIV negative but at high risk of HIV to dramatically reduce their chance of catching HIV. It is a course of tablets that are either taken before and after sex OR taken daily to cover unplanned sexual activity. In short, PrEP is a pill that stops someone getting HIV.
