Sharing patient information – new communications material

Hampshire & Isle of Wight ICB have produced a new information leaflet to explain how health and care services share information and data from patient records to build trust and confidence that this is done in a confidential, safe and secure way.
This includes new web pages on the HIOW ICB website, animations. FAQs and leaflets and posters.
The ICB would like this to reach as many people as possible, including those who prefer to get their information in printed form, and would like pharmacies to make the new leaflets available. This has been suggested by the patient consultative group who have been advising on this project.
The ICB project team will send a small number of leaflets and posters to each pharmacy for you to display if you have a suitable space.
