Safeguarding requirements for Pharmacists and Registered Pharmacy Technicians

It is part of the contractual framework that all registered staff (pharmacists and technicians) MUST refresh their level safeguarding training every 2 years.

Some services such as the Pharmacy Contraception Service now require level 3 safeguarding as well as level 2 (not instead of).

Ongoing refresher training can be at level 2, without the need to repeat level 1 training but you must do level 2.
