Portsmouth City Council: Smoking Cessation Training for Pharmacy Staff

Additional training sessions for pharmacies who wish to offer the Locally Commissioned Service
Portsmouth City Council have arranged virtual training for both refresher and new stop smoking advisors. The training is provided free of charge.
Smoking Cessation Practitioner Refresher Training
- Wednesday 11 August 10am to 1pm (3hrs)
- Thursday 12 August 5pm to 8pm (3hrs)
- Wednesday 22 September 10am to 1pm (3hrs)
Level 2 - Smoking Cessation Practitioner Training
- Friday 10 September 9.30am to 12.30pm (3hrs)
- Friday 17 September 9.30am to 12.30pm (3hrs)
- Thursday 21 October 1pm to 2.30pm (1.5hr reflective follow up)
To book your place email wellbeing@portsmouthcc.gov.uk
Include the following information:
- Name/s of staff members
- Pharmacy name and address
- Contact telephone number and email (individual emails for all participants)
- Which course - date and time
You will then be sent a link by the Wellbeing Service for the participants to join the training session.
