CPD Opportunity: Pharmacy Emergency Contraception and Sexual Health Refresher Webinar

Following the mystery shopper exercise at the end of 2021, NHS Solent would like to invite all pharmacists, technicians and supporting staff to attend an EHC refresher webinar which will focus on some of the key themes.
This EHC and sexual health refresher will be beneficial for all pharmacists and technicians that provide the free EHC service or sell EHC OTC and can be used towards your annual CPD requirement.
The webinar will signpost to information, service specifications and PGDs for the EHC service across Hampshire, Isle of Wight, Portsmouth and Southampton. Information will be provided on EC effectiveness, signposting for coils, STI screening, drug interactions and contraceptive bridging methods, signposting for LARC and the provision of free condoms.
NHS Solent would also welcome feedback from pharmacies on appropriate promotional material and the use of QR codes to signpost for further information and advice.
