Potassium Permanganate and Emollients
A reminder about patient safety when dispensing either Potassium Permanganate or Emollients.
Patients have been known to inadvertently ingestion potassium permanganate which is highly toxic and can be fatal.

People using emollients, creams, ointments etc. should be warned that these emollients can build up on fabrics, such as clothing or bedding, which can cause the fabrics to catch fire more easily.
