Have you started to think about the flu season this year?
This module has been produced to support you to refresh your knowledge about anaphylaxis prior to starting the flu season. It provides an overview of Adrenaline auto-injectors and how the community pharmacy team can provide the best support and advice to patients visiting their pharmacy.

- Do you know how long it takes for respiratory arrest to occur following a fatal reaction to an insect sting?
- Do you know that MHRA advice is that people carry 2 devices with them at all times?
- Are you aware that trainer devices and a free expiry alert service are available?
This online training is provided free of charge to all community pharmacies located in Southampton, Hampshire, Isle of Wight, and Portsmouth. The training has been funded by Community Pharmacy South Central to help pharmacies meet their requirement to deliver services and support health promotion activities throughout the year.
