New Virtual Outcomes Training Module:

This training has been produced to support you with the new Pharmacy First Service. It provides an overview of how all the community pharmacy team can be involved in providing the elements of the service. It is made up of one Introduction and Service Overview training module for the whole pharmacy team and seven condition modules to look at the key points contained in each.

Each module is short averaging about 7-10 minutes each and allow the pharmacist and/ or team to ‘dip’ into each condition as and when necessary.

• Do you know that the Pharmacy First Service consists of 3 elements - 2 existing (CPCS) and 1 new one?
• Do you know what your pharmacy needs to have in place and what training your pharmacists need to do?
• Do you want to know the key points from the 7 clinical pathways?

There is also a module for GP Surgeries that will be released in the coming days. CPSC will share this with the LMC and pharmacies should share with their local surgeries. It will explain the service and how they can work with their local pharmacies to implement and refer patients.

This online training is provided free of charge to all community pharmacies located in Southampton, Hampshire, Isle of Wight, and Portsmouth. The training has been funded by Community Pharmacy South Central to help pharmacies meet their requirement to deliver services and support health promotion activities throughout the year.
