New Virtual Outcomes Training Module

Atrial Fibrillation
To support the delivery of the Hypertension Case Finding Service, Virtual Outcomes have launched a new module on Atrial Fibrillation (AF).
In England there are 1.4 million people living with AF and 425,000 are undiagnosed and untreated.
AF is a contributing factor to 1 in 5 strokes in the UK.
This module also looks at what medicines are used to treat AF and why.
This online training is provided free of charge to all community pharmacies located in Southampton, Hampshire, Isle of Wight and Portsmouth. The training has been funded by Community Pharmacy South Central to help pharmacies meet their requirement to deliver services and support health promotion activities throughout the year.
