Public Health England (PHE) are very aware that mental wellbeing may be front of mind for many of us as we approach Mental Health Awareness Week starting on 10th May 2021 and so they are sharing their Better Health Every Mind Matters resources.
COVID-19 has impacted the whole country; for almost everyone, life has had to change fundamentally. Research shows that since the start of the pandemic there has been an increase in a range of mental health conditions for adults, from low wellbeing, sleep problems and anxiety to depression.
So for Mental Health Awareness week running from the 10th - 16th May 2021 they are updating their Every Mind Matters resources to help conversations about mental health and the things in our daily lives that can affect it.
They are also adding more Better Health - Every Mind Matters digital resources ahead of the 10th May; including posters, social media assets, conversation starters, activation guides and more on the PHE Campaign Resource Centre website:
Every Mind Matters Mind Plan
There are things we can all do to look after our mental wellbeing. The Every Mind Matters can get you started with a free NHS online plan, showing you simple steps to help manage anxiety, sleep better and boost your mood. You can share a link to the Every Mind Matters mental health plan 'Mind Plan' with your networks or embed the Mind Plan on your website – instructions on how to do this are shared below:
In addition to the Every Mind Matters Mind Plan there is a wealth of content which includes practical tips and videos from experts on dealing with stress and anxiety, boosting your mood, sleeping better and what you can do to help others – including advice for parents and for children and young people:

The Every Mind Matters platform has been continuously updated to support people during the COVID-19 outbreak, and has a COVID-19 hub that includes tips and support on how to deal with change, cope with money worries and job uncertainty and how to look after your mental wellbeing while staying at home.
