LAST CHANCE: Help inform the future planning and funding of Community Pharmacy

Health Education England (HEE) Community Pharmacy Workforce Survey open until Friday 18th June for completion
Have your say in helping inform the future planning and funding in relation to the development of the community pharmacy workforce across the NHS in England by completing the survey.
The data from the previous workforce survey has also been used by PSNC in national negotiations on the development of community pharmacy services.
The pharmacies of Company Chemists’ Association members do not need to complete the survey, as it will be completed by their respective head office departments.
Pharmacy teams working in other multiple pharmacy groups should check with their head office as to whether the survey should be completed at pharmacy level or whether their head office will complete it.
Contents of the survey
The survey asks for the number of people, the number of full-time equivalents (FTE) and any vacancies in each of nine staff categories employed in community pharmacy. Taking this approach will guarantee consistency with the previous 2017 survey and will allow workforce trend analysis to be undertaken to understand how the size of the community pharmacy workforce has changed over this period.
Contractors will be asked to provide information for the staffing levels in the week in which they are completing the survey or, if appropriate, the most recent completed seven-day period.
More information on the survey, as well as access to complete it is provided on the following website page:
