Public Health England reports on novel strain following its recent investigation
In the run-up to Christmas Public Health England (PHE) reported an investigation into a novel strain of COVID-19. This report, as well as a technical briefing have now published on the following GOV.uk website pages:

PHE wish to remind everyone that the way to control this virus is the same, whatever the variant.
It will not spread if we avoid close contact with others.
