16 - 20 October - In Celebration of World Menopause Day
To celebrate World Menopause Day, the ICB will be running a series of webinars focusing on nutrition, menstruation, HRT and Cardiovascular Disease.

The following sessions are confirmed:
- Monday 16 October 2023, 12pm to 1pm - Women’s Health: Balancing Hormones during Menopause - with Kasia Walusiak (BSc) Nutritional Therapist mBANT CNHC
- Tuesday 17 October, 10am to 11am - Menstruation Webinar with Dr Caroline A Taylor BM FFSRH, Associate Specialist and Clinical lead, Sexual and Reproductive Health (SRH), Specialist interests: contraception, menopause and vasectomy
- Tuesday 17 October 2023, 1pm to 1.45pm, Bladder Health and Pelvic Floor with Rosie Butler, from UHS. Rosie specialises in 'Women’s Health' physiotherapy. She treats all pregnancy related musculoskeletal conditions, continence and pelvic floor muscle disorders.
- Tuesday 17 October 2023, 2pm to 2.30pm - Meet your Menopause Advisors with Suzy and Elizabeth
- Wednesday 18 October, 2pm to 4pm, at Omega House, Eastleigh, Menopause Drop-in open to all staff across HIOW ICS - an opportunity to ask questions and seek support; monitor cardiovascular disease risk and check your blood pressure - NEW
- Thursday 19 October 2023, 11.30am to 12.30pm - Dr Sam Davies: Everything Menopause - Cardiovascular disease - what happens around the time of the menopause, how this impacts our heart health and what we can do about it.
- Thursday 19 October, 1pm to 2pm - HRT Webinar with Dr Caroline A Taylor BM FFSRH, Associate Specialist and Clinical lead, Sexual and Reproductive Health (SRH), Specialist interests: contraception, menopause and vasectomy
- Friday 20 October, 10am to 10.30am - Menopause Meet-Up - informal discussion and a chance to feedback on any of the sessions held this week
- Tuesday 31 October 2023, 12pm to 1pm - Jyoti Sharma/MIMOSA - safe and inclusive Menopause App - aims to reimagine how females of all ages, ethnicities and genders navigate their menopause journey
The ICB has organised a joint World Menopause Day and Black History Month in person event open to all staff across the organisation.
