Open to all women in England between 16-55
One year on from the publication of the Women’s Health Strategy for England, the Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC) has launched a women’s reproductive health survey, which opened on 7th September.
The survey comes as one of the commitments of the Strategy to ‘commission a reproductive health experiences survey every 2 years…to tackle the gap in data collection specifically relating to women’s experiences across all areas of reproductive health.’ It will be used to inform policy development and to monitor changes and disparities in access to and experience of reproductive health services.
The survey is being run by the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine (LSHTM) and will run until 19th October. Questions cover a range of issues, including:
- Pain experienced during periods
- Preferences in accessing contraceptive services
- Experience of abortion care
