Thurs 23 March: 1-2pm Conversations on Burnout: Menopause Resilience In this final session, Hazel Anderson-Turner will host Dr Sam Davies and Dr Sally Louden, Menopause Specialists and NHS GPs and will cover the symptoms and signs of the menopause, why these matter for your future health and wellbeing and explore what you can do to proactively manage this phase of your life so you can continue to thrive at home, at work and in your relationships. A virtual meet-up to provide a safe space to talk about menopause. Menopause Meet-ups are for everyone, whether you are experiencing the menopause yourself or supporting someone who is, because menopause matters. Mon 27 March: 1-2pm Men’s Mental Wellbeing with Lee Chambers During the hour, Lee will be sharing his story, challenging stigma and talking about strategies, vulnerability and communication. You’ll find out how to have the confidence to take care of your own wellbeing; how to have wellbeing conversations as men, whether for yourself or supporting others; and find a sustainable way that works for you to take care of your wellbeing on an ongoing basis. Apply by 7 April Level 7 Strategic Approaches to Mental Health & Wellbeing Accreditation Expressions of interest to be submitted by 7 April to: HIOW_HWB@southernhealth.nhs.uk The Level 7 qualification has been designed to enable leaders to evidence their understanding of the impact of mental health and wellbeing on organisational performance. Close of Support Service and Cost of Living Helpline
Please note that the Health and Wellbeing Support Service and Cost of Living Helpline will end on 31 March 2023.
A range of information and support for subjects covered by these projects can be found on the new-look People Portal website, which will be live at www.hiowpeople.nhs.uk from Monday 20th March and available to all NHS and Primary Care colleagues across Hampshire and the Isle of Wight.
The end of the services does not affect the other services such as the Menopause Service (including one-to-one appointments with Menopause Advisers), Staff Physio Service, EDNA, fitness classes and specialist training courses.
