Essential Service – Discharge Medicines Service (DMS)

MUST be delivered in a timely manner
Across the area we currently only action approx. 65% of all DMS referral, meaning that’s 35% of DMSs that are not getting done and fees not being claimed.
DMS is an essential service that MUST BE delivered in timely manner, Stage 1 needs to be delivered within 72 working hours (3 days).
As pharmacies have an increasing number of clinical services to offer it is critical to involve the whole team where and when possible.
