Anticoagulation (DOAC) Counselling

Last year Hampshire Hospitals conducted a survey to discover your feelings about providing Anticoagulation Counselling. 

Counselling was mainly provided in response to NMS and supported by the NMS checklist.  In response to that survey Hampshire hospitals have increased the opportunities for counselling of patients newly started on anticoagulation via DMS electronic referral scheme.  They have also provided an Anticoagulation Counselling Checklist and supportive professional resources including an Anticoagulation FAQ available under the haemophilia tab on the following NHS Hampshire Hospitals website page:
