Ensure the NHS Directory of services (DoS) is updated to reflect your agreed forthcoming Easter, May & August Bank Holiday pharmacy opening times
Now that Easter, May & August Bank Holiday pharmacy opening times in South East pharmacies have been confirmed with the NHS Regional Team it's important to ensure that your DoS profile accurately reflects these.
Apparently, at Christmas there were several pharmacies that had been open, but they failed to indicate that they were open on the DoS. This meant that patients could not be directed to them for relevant services and hence lost out on service provision and revenue.
Action required:Please check you Bank Holiday hours on DoS are correct for the forthcoming dates this year. |
